Crowdfunded Tamil movie based on farming set to release

The film based on problems related to farming in India faced a difficult time in terms of finding investors and raising funds, said The Hindu. The creation of the movie required the identification of 60 different investors to raise funds. Apart from the fact that finding buyers for a movie on farmers was difficult, the director Karthik Ravi also hinted that all those who worked for the film wanted to be a part of it on the question if the crew of the movie had been paid, said the report.
