As the Congress and BJP are at loggerheads with each other over the Augusta Westland in the parliament and elsewhere, there is little to separate from each other’s’ manifesto for the forthcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections.

The promise of alcohol prohibition and Jallikattu was also made by the BJP, in their manifesto which was released last Thursday.

The other two common promises made by the two national parties are setting up of Lokayukta and 24/7 power supply in the state.
