Four children drown in water tank on outskirts of Hyderabad

The children were in the age group of 10-12 years, the inspector added.

The police said four children drowned in a water tank on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Thursday. A girl was among the dead.

"Four children including one girl, who went for bathing in a tank of Makhan village drowned at around noon. Three bodies have been traced and search is on locate another one," Kandukur Police Station Inspector K V Vijay Kumar told PTI.

The children were in the age group of 10-12 years, the inspector added. They have been identified as G Shilpa (14), G Srujan (13), G Nanni (10) and G Shiva (12).  

Further investigation is on.
