The Bill, if passed, would transfer seven mandals of Khammam District to Andhra Pradesh. The MPs have also been asked to raise the Polvaram Project issue, a national river-linking project which is likely to displace a large number of people. The reports suggested that the TRS chief has asked his MPs to take support from other regional parties and also meet the Cabinet separately with a list of demands.
