The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) is all set to release the results of the first and second-year Intermediate exams on Thursday at 5 pm.

The examinations were held in March this year, where a little over nine lakh students appeared. To pass, a student needs to score at least 35%. The announcement of the results comes after a delay, as the results were to be released earlier in the week. They were presumably delayed due to the Lok Sabha elections in the state, which was on April 11.

Here’s how students can check their results:

Students can check their results on www.bie.telangana.gov.in or http://tsbie.cgg.gov.in, both of which will have a tab for checking the results. After selecting the option, students have to fill in their hall ticket number and the captcha that appears on the screen in the box.

The results can also be accessed in the TSBIE Student Service mobile application, which has a separate option to check the results and marksheet, which the student can access by entering their hall ticket number.

Students can also get their results through SMS. General second-year students should send an SMS with TSGEN2 followed by their registration number to 56263 while vocational students can send an SMS to the same number with TSVOC2 followed by their registration number.

For first-year general results, the SMS can be sent to 56263 with TSGEN1 followed by their registration number, while the first-year vocational students can send an SMS to 56263 with TSVOC1 followed by their registration number.

The results for the intermediate examinations of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh were released recently. 72% of second-year students and 60% of first-year students cleared the exams.
