Abhishek Ambareesh is all set to make his acting debut with the Kannada movie Amar, in which he is paired opposite Tanya Hope. The shooting for the film is set to begin later this month in Coimbatore and the actors are gearing up to shoot a motocross racing sequence there. Wielding the megaphone for this venture would be Nagashekar.
Speaking about the film and his passion for motor racing, Abhishek had told Times of India in an interview, “I am passionate about motorsports in general. Bike racing is new and I am excited about this. I have been meeting experts and rallyists and understanding what it is to be on the track. I’m working on my body language and understanding. We plan on keeping it as real as possible and I’m planning on shooting for most of it, except maybe a few dangerous stunts, which might have doubles.”
On her role in the film, Tanya Hope said, “I play this rebellious girl, who is a badass biker too. The task of learning to ride a heavy bike is a daunting thought, but I am slowly getting there. I’ve begun learning to ride the smaller, less heavier ones and hope to get to riding the big ones soon. I am having my fingers crossed that everything goes fine. I’m also learning to get the body language of a biker girl right.”
Bankrolled under the banner Sandesh Productions, the film’s technical crew comprises Arjun Janya composing music, Satya Hegde cranking the camera and Sania Sardhariya designing the costumes.
Abhishek has been undergoing training to get ready to face the camera. He got trained in martial arts and kickboxing from a premier fighting institution in Thailand. He got trained by an acting teacher from Bengaluru who has knowledge of the local industry. Being the star kid’s debut film, expectations are high on Amar, more so because it happens to be the title of his father Ambareesh’s hit movie in the past.
