Vijay Sethupathi is easily one of the most talented actors around right now. The actor from the Tamil film industry is slowly and steadily expanding his horizons by moving over to other film industries. He currently has the Telugu magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which he plays the Tamil-speaking character Raja Pandi. In this film, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen sharing the screen space with the Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi and the Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.

According to latest reports, the makers of Sye Raa had shot quite a lot of scenes involving Vijay Sethupathi, so much so that they now want to trim it down. On getting to know about this, Chiranjeevi is said to have intervened with a request not to do so as Vijay Sethupathi’s acting is top notch.

Sye Raa is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crore. It has a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan who will be seen making a guest appearance as Gosayi Venkanna. Apparently, he plays Uyyalalwada Narasimha’s mentor in the film. The others in the star cast are Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R. Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it and Amit Trivedi wielding the music baton. It is a trilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

It may be noted here that the film unit had completed a major schedule in Georgia where they had shot the all-important war sequence. This will be a visual treat for the audiences and has come out well, say sources. A few weeks ago, there was a fire accident on the sets of this film, which was a major setback for the Sye Raa team. It was the second fire mishap that the Sye Raa team encountered within a span of a few months.
