The shooting for Teddy, Arya and Sayyeshaa's upcoming film, directed by Shakthi Soundar Rajan of Tik Tik Tik fame has been wrapped up. The project marks the maiden collaboration of Arya and Shakti and it will be a one-of-its-kind outing in the actor's career.

Director Shakthi made his debut with Naanayam in 2010 and went on to direct Naaigal Jaakirathai in 2014. In 2016, he came up with Miruthan, the first-ever zombie thriller in the Tamil cinema industry. The film turned out to be a big hit. Tik Tik Tik, which he had directed, was the first ever space film in the Indian cinema.

Teddywas predominantly shot in Chennai and some exotic places in Europe. Sakshi Agarwal of Bigg Boss fame and Director Magizh Thirumeni will be seen in an important role in this film. The movie, which has music by D Imman and bankrolled by Studio Green. There are rumors that the film could be a remake of Hollywood’s hit comedy Ted starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis.

Arya also has Santhanathevan, a movie that is directed by Ameer. He also has a Hindi movie titled 3 Dev directed by Ankush Bhatt. It is also reported that Arya has bagged another project with Lyca Productions which will be directed by Muthaiah, who popular for his rural projects such as Komban and Marudhu.

Meanwhile, the latest reports doing rounds on social media suggests that Arya may be roped in to play the main antagonist in Vishal's next which is being directed by Anand Shankar of Irumugam fame. Arya and Vishal have earlier worked together on films such as Avan Ivan and Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga in which Vishal was seen in a cameo.
