Tollywood stars Nagarjuna and Nani are teaming up on screen for the first time and the shooting of this untitled venture commenced on March 18 on the occasion of the Telugu New Year’s Day and the film unit has completed its first shooting schedule. The film is being directed by Sriram Aditya.

In a press statement released by the makers of this multi-starrer, it has been stated: “Currently, the unit is shooting some scenes in Metro Train at Miyapur Metro Station, Hyderabad. This is the first film to shoot in the recently inaugrated Metro. Scenes involving Nani, Rashmika Mandanna and Sampoornesh Babu were canned in the Metro. With these scenes, the film has completed its first schedule.”

On working with Nagarjuna, director Sriram Aditya has said that has always been his dream to direct the star as he grew up watching his films and it was great opportunity for him.

Hindustan Times has quoted the director, “Just like my previous films, I can categorise this film into one genre. It’ll be a multi-genre film with beautiful emotions and great visuals. The on-screen relationship between Nani and Nagarjuna will be the film’s major highlight.”

It may be mentioned here that Nagarjuna had just wrapped up the shooting of the Ram Gopal Varma starrer Officer, in which he plays a cop. According to reports on Nag’s role in the film, he plays a tough police officer in pursuit of saving a kidnapped girl. The film is expected to hit the silver screens in June this year.

Nani, on the other hand, is busy with Krishnarjuna Yudham, which is being directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. With Nani and Nag sharing the screen space for the first time, fans are waiting in anticipation to know more about the film. The title of the film is expected to be revealed soon.
