The film was screened in 121 theatres across Tamil Nadu. It was also screened at a few theatres in the United States of America.

The film was not just appreciated by movie buffs but those in the film industry as well. Top actors and film personalities heaped praises on the film with many taking to the social networking sites to urge others to watch the film in theatres.
