The motion poster and title of Pranav Mohanlal's debut film are out. The film to be directed by Jeethu Joseph of Drishyam fame, is titled Aadhi.
The film’s puja function was held at Vivanta By Taj in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday, and it was here that the revelations were made. Mohanlal attended the puja with his family.
The puja of Mohanlal’s big budget film, the highly anticipated Odiyan was also held at the same venue. Both the movies are produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the Aashirvad banner.
In Aadhi, Pranav reportedly plays the role of a parkour expert and the film comes with the tag line 'Some lies can be deadly'.
Shooting for the film is expected to begin soon.
“Though this is my ninth film, I am more tensed this time when compared to previous times. Because whole of Kerala has been waiting for Pranav’s debut movie,” Jeethu Joseph said in the event.
26-year-old Pranav made his debut in 2002 as a child artist in the movie Onnaman. The same year, he won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artiste for his role in another film Punarjani.
Pranav begins his journey with lots of good wishes. And a special one coming from the other superstar offspring, Mammootty's son, Dulquer.
“Wishing my dearest Appu (Pranav Mohanlal) the very best for the first day of shoot for his new film !! I know how hard he's been working on his stunts and everything. It's going to be a real treat for everyone !! You're gonna rock and we all know it,” Dulquer Salman posted in his Facebook, wishing Pranav.
