Kannada movie Asathoma Sadgamaya is in the final stages of post-production. The dubbing process of this film was on at the Renu Studio for about 20 days before it was wrapped up recently. The film’s re-recording is happening at a brisk pace now. Produced by Ashwini Pireira under the banner I Care Productions in association with Meli D’Souza, the film is being directed Rajesh Venoor. Radhika Chetan plays the lead role in this film that deals with human emotions and how important they are for our lives. Baby Chitrali, Lasya Nagaraj, Deepak Shetty and Kiran Raj are also a part of this film.

Touted to be a thriller, Asathoma Sadgamaya is loaded with comedy and suspense. Despite the heavy subject that is being dealt with, it will be a complete commercial entertainer, say sources close to the film unit. Vahab Saleem, the Tulu music composer, has penned and composed five songs for the album. Kishore Kumar, who has worked in several documentaries and reality shows, has cranked the camera for Asathoma Sadgamaya.

Speaking about the film, the director is reported to have said, “This movie is based on IQ vs EQ (emotional quotient) concept. Earlier, relationships and emotional quotient were given more priority. Today's generation is smart and parents look for intelligence, good marks rather than a special bond or valuable relationships. Today, emotions and attachments have lost their importance which we have tried to revive in this movie. It is a family entertainer, with a dash of comedy.”

Pradeep Barboza Paladka, of Ek Aslylar Ek Na fame and Deepak Paladka, a popular comedian in Konkani and Tulu films, make their debut in Sandalwood with this flick.

The film’s first look was launched a couple of months ago and the audio release is slated to happen soon.
