Even as the date for the launch of the next flagship smartphones in the S series by Samsung nears, the flow of rumors regarding the various specifications and features the different variants of the Samsung Galaxy S10 will carry have not stopped. Some draw information from component or case suppliers while others from some coding exercise on a related program. One such thing has happened now, where the code for the Samsung Pay has been modified to accept the instructions through the in-display fingerprint sensor in the upcoming phones.

Some of the other details to emerge from the leaks include a ceramic back panel in the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus and that it will come in two colours: Black and white. This is considered a technological breakthrough since the phone will have a very strong casing that cannot be easily broken even after a fall. The additional fortification may result in the phone’s weight being increased, but one will know only after the device is officially revealed by the South Korean giant.

The other hotly debated subject is the 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy S10. There have been rumours already that the phone will have 12GB RAM and the storage could be as high as 1TB. It is now being clarified that the 5G phone from Samsung may indeed have 12GB RAM but the storage could be in 3 or 4 variants, starting with 256GB and going up to 1TB, typically 3 choices, 256 and 512GB and 1TB.

There is this speculation of the front camera in the Samsung Galaxy S10 series being of a popup type and a mere tap on the front camera will push it up. This is not new since the Samsung Galaxy A8s already has something similar, but it is now being rumoured that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will also be provided with a similar arrangement and a mere gesture will open up the camera to take selfies. It is said Samsung may make this the standard as far as the phones with the Infinity ‘O’ display are concerned.
