Actor Simbu, who has been going through a rough patch on the professional front, is trying to redeem his career with interesting career choices. Having recently wrapped up work on Mani Ratnam’s multi-starrer, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam he’s expected to join hands with filmmaker Gautham Menon for the third time for the sequel to their highly successful Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.
In his latest video interview, Gautham has confirmed that he will rejoin hands with Simbu for the sequel. Not long ago, Gautham had said that he plans to make the sequel with R Madhavan, however, the plan didn’t materialize. Meanwhile, on Friday, filmmaker Venkat Prabhu confirmed via a tweet that his next film will be with Simbu. The duo are joining hands for the first time.

It was recently announced that Simbu has four interesting projects in his kitty, including a yet-untitled film with Vijaya Productions.
