Vijay Sethupathi, who is on a roll with consecutive hits, has rendered a song for the Tamil film Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum. What is significant about this song is that he has rendered it in sanga Thamizh or ancient Tamil.
Reports are that the music composer Sam CS wanted a unique voice for this ‘Siddhar Song’ and opted for Vijay Sethupathi, who instantly agreed to do it. We hear that he will be rendering the monologue part of the song and Harish Kalyan would continue with the rest.
Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum is directed by Ranjith Jayakodi and stars Harish Kalyan and Shilpa Manjunath as the lead pair. The first look poster of the film featuring the lead pair did go viral already and now we hear that the hero plays an angry young man in it.
Vijay Sethupathi is one of the busiest actors in the tinsel town with a number of films needing his attention. He is gearing up for the release of Seethakaathi on December 20. The film is directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kanom fame. Govind Vasantha is composing the tunes for this flick with Saraskanth TK wielding the camera and R Govindaraj roped in for editing.
Seethakaathi is being bankrolled by Sudhan Sundaram, Umesh G, Jayaram and Arun Vaidyanathan under the banner Passion Studios. Hollywood technician Kevin Haney has been roped in to design Vijay’s look in Seethakaathi.
