It’s that time of the year when smartphone brands gear up to launch their flagships for the year. Rumors suggest that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 is on its way and is slated for an August launch.
These leaks, which usually turn out right, have revealed a few key specs and features of the new smartphone. The highlights of these include a powerful 4000mAh battery and better and faster charging facility.
To start with a render of the Galaxy Note 9’s case would indicate that Samsung has moved the fingerprint sensor to the rear panel, below the cameras.
The display is likely to be 6.4-inches in size and the processor will either be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC in the evolved markets and the Exynos 9810 chipset and backed by 8GB RAM. The internal storage is being predicted to be 512GB.
Samsung may stick to the camera setup one sees in the Galaxy S9 series and a dual aperture camera in the rear is what is being rumored for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
On the battery front, the rumors strongly suggest that the new Galaxy Note 9 will definitely be a 4000mAh one and more importantly, these sources have managed to track the certification for a new charger with ratings of 12 volts and 2.1 amperes and if it does get added to the Galaxy Note 9, then it makes it a faster charger than the one on the Galaxy 9 since its ratings were 9 volts and 1.67 amperes. The new model number could be EN-N6100.
If these rumors are indeed correct, then Samsung might have a clear edge against the competition with a larger batter with longer life and faster charging capabilities. One will have to wait till the first week of August to know which of these rumors turn out to be true.
