The News Minute | October 24, 2014 | 9.55 pm IST The sky over a cemetery in Hyderabad is lit up with the glow of fire crackers on Diwali every year. Relatives of people buried at the Panjagutta burial ground, a big cemetery located in one of the prominent parts of the city, greeted their deceased loved with Diyas and sweets, reported ABN Telugu. The graveyard which usually is a very intimidating sight at night, was filled with people this year too, bursting fireworks and lighting lamps. “Every year we do this to remind our ancestors that we celebrate Diwali with them. We burn crackers and also eat here†In a beautiful show of humanity, the people have come to terms with the dead and still remember them once a year by celebrating the festival with them instead. “We even prepare their favorite sweets to remind them that they have not been forgotten†another man says. This may perhaps be considered a very peculiar place by some but it is considered to be the best and the most unique place to celebrate by some. Watch ABN's video here:
