Popular Telugu actor Rajasekar, who is also a doctor by profession, had been attending to the producer who was suffering over the last few months.Born on June 6th 1936, Ramanaidu was a multilingual Indian film producer who founded Suresh Productions and also a Guinness record holder for the most films produced by an individual, having produced more than 150 films in 13 Indian languages. Conferred with a Padma Bhushan for his contribution to Telugu cinema, he had received numerous awards including the Dada Saheb Phalke Award for Lifetime Achievement and had also served as an MP for the Bapatala constituency of Guntur District in the Lok Sabha from 1999 to 2004 as a member of the TDP - which is currently ruling in Andhra Pradesh.Besides founding Suresh Productions, which is one of India’s largest film production companies with over 50 years of contribution to national and regional cinema, the acclaimed producer had worked with films in many languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Oriya, Punjabi and English. Ramanaidu had contributed a substantial part of his earnings to various philanthropic purposes including the Ramanaidu Charitable Trust that he founded in 1991.Condolences have started pouring in to the family from many prominent figures in the Tollywood industry.TweetFollow @thenewsminute
