Daisy Edgar Jones, the British actor who was brought in for the upcoming Rajamouli directed RRR has walked out of the film citing ‘family circumstances.’ The actor took to her Instagram to post a note stating that due to personal reasons, she would not be staying on for the role.
“RRR: Unfortunately due to family circumstances I am unable to participate in filming for this wonderful film. The script is truly brilliant and it’s such a great character, I hope whomever they cast receives as warm a welcome as I have and I wish the production all the best,” reads the post made by Daisy.
The official Twitter handle of the film too made the announcement on the microblogging platform.

RRR is director SS Rajamouli’s next venture after the blockbuster Baahubali franchise. Telugu stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan will be playing the lead. Actor Alia Bhatt has also been roped in for a major role. MM Keeravani will be composing the tunes. It is being bankrolled by DVV Dhanayya under his banner DVV Entertainments on a budget of Rs 300 crore. Kollywood director and actor Samuthirakani has also been signed up to play a crucial role.
The crew is now reportedly busy shooting in Gujarat as part of the first schedule of the film. Rajamouli plans on wrapping up shooting by March 2020 and is aims to release the film on July 30, 2020. The movie will release pan-India in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, among other languages.
After the success of the Baahubali series, expectations are riding high for RRR.
