Dulquer Salmaan is completing seven years in the film industry and has for the first time revealed publicly how he felt while working in his debut movie Second Show.

The star posted on his Facebook this, “Today marks 7 years since my first film released. Ironically called #SecondShow ! Don't think I've ever been as afraid in life as I was during that period. In many ways I put undue pressure on myself. Felt I couldn't afford to put one foot wrong. More than anything didn't want to be a huge embarrassment to my wonderful parents. But there was something so organic and natural about how everything flowed from the time I said yes to this film. Around the same time I met my to be wife. Midway through the filming of SS, #UstadHotel came my way. Something about that year, everything in my life changed. Maybe the stars aligned. Maybe it was all written. Maybe it was destiny. Maybe it was Gods will. Maybe it was maybelline ! Haha jokes aside as always I'm only full of gratitude. To my beloved family. My epic friends. The amazing people of the one of a kind Malayalam film industry. The wonderful folk of other industries that welcomed me out of the love & respect they have for Malayalam films. More than anything the incredible film lovers that shower me with endless love and encouragement. I bow before all of you with the utmost gratitude. Here's to the next year !”

Dulquer is currently busy with a slew of films in different languages. He has the Malayalam movie Oru Yamandan Premakadha directed by BC Boufal, who will be making his directorial debut. Further, Dulquer has the Bollywood flick Zoya Factor needing his attention. The film is based on the novel of the same title penned by Anuja Chauhan.

He also has in his kitty the Tamil film Vaan, directed by RA Karthik. Besides that, he has signed two other Malayalam films. While Kurup to be directed by Srinath Rajendran is one important project for him, Dulquer has signed a new film with director Mahesh Narayanan of Take Off fame as well.
