Veteran actor and director Santhana Bharathi’s son Sanjay Bharathi is all set to direct a film. Touted to be a film based on astrology, it will also have plenty of humour. Titled as Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale, the film will have Harish Kalyan playing the lead role.

On the film, Sanjay said in an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, “The title is very relevant to the story. Harish plays an automobile guy who believes in astrology. He has certain goals in life and like how an arrow from the bow hits its target, he is very focused to achieve them. Apparently, he faces a few hitches and how he overcomes them forms the crux.  Also, the zodiac sign for Dhanusu is bow and arrow. The movie is a hilarious family entertainer.”

The film will have Ghibran scoring the music.  While Munishkanth and Renuka have been roped in to play the supporting roles in the film, the director is yet to sign up the two heroines.

Sanjay Bharathi made his acting debut in Selva's Naanga, and was then seen in the lead role in Vijay Adhiraj's Puthagam. He also starred in Karu Pazhaniappan's Jannal Oram, Masss and Kootathil Oruthan. He had worked with director AL Vijay in films like Devi and Vanamagan as assistant director. Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale will be his debut directorial.

Harish Kalyan, on the other hand, has acted in films like Poriyaalan, Vil Ambu, and Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. His last film release was Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum, a romantic thriller film written and directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi.

Shilpa Manjunath shared the screen space with him, while Ma Ka Pa Anand and Bala Saravanan were seen in the supporting roles. Sam CS scored music for the film while editing was done by Vivek Harshan and cinematography by Kavin Raj.
