Filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, who has produced films like Meyadha Maan and Mercury under the banner of Stone Bench Films, is ready with his fourth production venture which went on floors this Monday in Nilgiris.

Tipped to be a horror-thriller, the yet-untitled project is being directed by Rathindran Prasad and stars Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead. The makers have revealed in a statement that the project boasts a talented team of technicians with cinematography by Italian lensman Roberto Zazzara. The film will have music by Prithvi Chandrasekhar while Anand Geraldin will take care of editing.

This will be Rathindran’s second film. His debut directorial project Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai starring Ashwin Kakumanu and Abhay Deol is yet to release in theatres. The film has been completed and is struggling to find a release for various reasons.

Just a week ago, Karthik’s third production venture with Keerthy Suresh went on floors. Interestingly, Karthi will be bankrolling both these projects simultaneously. The Keerthy Suresh starrer would be helmed by Eashvar Karthic and sources say she has agreed to do this female-centric thriller as it portrays her in a different light with an intense role.

Meanwhile, Karthik is busy shooting his next project, rumored to be titled Ulagam Suttrum Valiban, with Dhanush in London. Believed to be an action thriller with gangster elements, the film features Aishwarya Lekshmi as the leading lady.

Earlier this week, the makers announced that they’ve roped in Games of Thrones and Braveheart fame actor James Cosmo for a pivotal role in the film. Karthik took to Twitter to welcome James on board.
