The Kuddukku Pottiya number from the Malayalam movie Love Action Drama has turned out to be a huge hit. The song, featuring Nivin Pauly, has garnered the attention of the film buffs not only in Kerala but across the country. The song teaser has the 7 million views mark so far. Just like every hit song, different versions of this number is doing rounds making it immensely popular.
Interestingly, this song comes from the hit combo singer Vineeth Sreenivsan and music composer Shaan Rahman, who came up with the phenomenal hit Jimikki Kammal. Kuddukku Pottiya song has been penned by Manu Manjith.
Love Action Drama has Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara playing the lead pair with Sreenivasan, Urvasi, Aju Varghese, Dhanya Balakrishnan and director Antony Joseph, playing pivotal roles in it. Incidentally, Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara paired up for the first time which made it one of the most expected films of the year.
Dhyan Sreenivasan, the director of the film, had roped in a strong technical team for the project. Shan Rahman is the music composer for this flick while Jomon T John cranked the camera and the editing was done by Vivek Harshan with art direction by Ajay Mangadu. Actor Aju Varghese bankrolled this film in association with Vishak Subramaniam under the banner of Funtastic Films. The film has been shot extensively in Chennai, Bengaluru and Kochi.
Nivin Pauly played the role Dineshan in the movie. Hailing from a well to do family, Dineshan strives to make it big all by himself and what ensues during the course forms the rest of the story. Nayanthara played a Palakkad Brahmin girl fluent in both Malayalam and Tamil. It is a complete family entertainer that was released on September 5th this year.
