Pictures of Tollywood star Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas have been going viral recently. While fans are hoping that they would be working together in a film soon, the two had teamed up for a commercial. Sharing the photo on social media, Mahesh Babu wrote, “Back with my favourite. Love the experience.”

They are shooting for a popular brand, we hear. Incidentally, Trivikram Srinivas and Mahesh Babu worked together in Athatdu and Khaleja earlier.

Meanwhile, the star is awaiting the release of Maharshi this summer. Directed by Vamsi Paidapally, Maharshi is a high budget project with a major portion of it being shot in the United States. The film is about three friends played by Mahesh Babu, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde. It also has veteran actor Jayapradha playing a pivotal role.

Maharshi is being produced jointly by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V. Potluri under the banners Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema. Maharshi is touted to hit the marquee on May 9.

On the other hand, Trivikram Srinivas is busy with the Allu Arjun starrer which will go on the floors later this month. The latest update about this project, which has not been titled yet, is that S Thaman has been roped in to compose the tunes. On bagging the offer, the music composer had tweeted, “My Second musical journey with #guruji #Trivikram sir. Can’t get a better opportunity to show my love and respect towards his brilliant writing.”

With the music composer working in Allu Arjun’s films earlier, there are huge expectations among his fans that he would score a hattrick.

It may be noted that Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas share a good rapport after having worked together in Julai in 2012 and S/O Satyamurthy in 2015.
