Sunny Wayne is on a signing spree with the star taking up multiple projects, all of them interesting and exciting. The latest film that he has signed happens to be Kunjunni Kundithananu. Speaking about it, the actor had said, “It is going to be an interesting tale of Kunjunni who is upset about a lot of things around. The film will go on floors in December 2017.”

Kunjunni Kundithananu will be directed by Prince Joy of the short film fame Ettukali. Incidentally, it will mark his debut in the film industry. The film’s motion poster was released recently on the social media and it went viral.

Sunny made his debut in the Malayalam film Second Show in 2012 and has acted in a number of films including Thattathin Marayathu, Annayum Rasoolum, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu, Double Barrel, and Pokkiri Simon.

Apart from this film, Sunny now has Kayamkulam Kochunni in his kitty, in which he shares screen space with Nivin Pauly and Amala Paul in the lead roles. The film is being helmed by Roshan Andrews. It may be mentioned here that the film is based on the life of the legendary thief Kayamkulam Kochunni and is set in another era.

Bobby and Sanjay have penned the script for this flick and the team will go for the shoots later this month. Sanjay was quoted as saying, “The younger generation knows everything about western superheroes such as Batman and Superman and yet they are clueless about the legendary heroes who actually existed in Kerala. I think it originates from the thinking that the more you assimilate western knowledge, the more ‘international’ you become. Our Aithihyamala has several magnificent characters such as Perunthachan and our mission is to introduce these heroes to the youth.”
