What happens to a young man from a small town from Kerala, who worships “Dhanush chettan”, “Rajni chettan” and "Mani chettan", with the dreams to make it big in films?
This, and more, is what upcoming Malayalam film “Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan” attempts to tell you.
Hailing from Kattappana, a small town in the hilly district of Idukki, the film talks about a young man (played by Vishnu Unnikrishnan) who dreams of becoming a star in the film industry and subsequently gets tagged as the Hrithik Roshan of Kattappana!
The trailer of the film, which is the second directorial venture of actor-turned-director Nadhirshah, was released on Thursday. Produced by actor Dileep and Dr Zachariah Thomas, the film is reportedly a comedy entertainer.
Though very little is reported about the plot of the film, the 2.14- minute trailer gives a glimpse into the struggles of the young man, and we cannot but remember actor Sreenivasan in "Udayananu Tharam" and Mammootty in "Best Actor", who went through similar struggles.
Will he be able to achieve his dream? Or does life have a different plan for this young man?
