From Raddiwalas to Chaddiwalas, Twitter's hilarious responses to Chetan Bhagat’s latest

Chetan Bhagat had asked for photos of his book in a "beautiful backdrop" to see people's "phone camera skills" and promising retweets.

Chetan Bhagat's seventh novel, 'One Indian Girl' is out and the author here writes from the point of view of a woman, in first person. And guess what he did to figure out the female psyche? He tried waxing. Because clearly, there's nothing that will give you more insight into a woman's mind than that.

He even posted an excerpt of the book and claimed that the book is feminist and "about women". While we didn't find the link between the claim and his writing in the excerpt, on Monday, Chetan Bhagat asked for pictures of his book in a "beautiful backdrop" to see people's "phone camera skills" and promising retweets.

But little did he know (or did he?) that the internet was going to respond to him in its own little way. And thus began the hilarious photoshops of his books inserted in, err, beautiful locations, as Twitterati understood it.
