B. Tech, webseries by filmmaker Tharun Bhascker, premiered on a web portal on November 15 and got a good response. Prior to its premiere, the filmmaker, who had penned the story and screenplay had told in an interview to the Times of India, “My first screenplay. This is the only script my dad read. I had such an emotional baggage tied up to this and I didn’t have the courage to take it forward. Then came Uppu, my best friend, a brother I’ve known since kindergarten. He directed it with such finesse that it fills me up with pride. Tanvi Desai, Pratik Prabhan, Vivek Kalepu and a gang of talented folks came together as team VG and went through many sleepless nights and a roller coaster ride to give you a web series that I’m super proud to present. Here’s a story straight from my heart! Enjoy.”
