The Bengaluru Pride March and Karnataka Queer Habba-2015 held on Sunday had people dressed in a plethora of colours shouting vibrant slogans, enjoying themselves thoroughly, and most importantly, showing to the world that they are much more than a small minority and an essential part of the nation.
These pictures, edited by interplaying monochromatic and colourful hues, have been modified in this manner since they try to bring out the mood we observed there.
It was so positive, bright and reflective of love and happiness, that the entire world seemed to fade away in black and white and these beautiful faces rose to chromatic prominence.
"It's a time we celebrate our sexuality, and there is no judgement. The only feeling that is being spread is love," Sumit Pawar (24), a queer person who came to Bengaluru to take part in the march.
