The Shiv Sena continues to grab eyeballs— this time by warmly unwelcoming the Pakistani duo of Fawad and Mahira Khan to the state of Maharashtra.
The Sena on Wednesday showered a pair of young Pakistani artists with their kindness through their rants, by giving them the most generous media attention at the start of their careers, of which they would be most thankful.
Both Fawad and Mahira were scheduled to visit Mumbai to act in and promote their forthcoming films. While Fawad is set to act in two movies produced by Dharma Productions after making his debut last year, Mahira is set to act in her first film along with the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Irfan Khan.
Treading on the righteous path of not allowing Pakistani nationals to breathe easy on Indian soil, the sole custodian of Indian nationalism, the ‘Shiv Sena’, has ensured that no Pakistani leaves the state without feeling the party’s presence and their ‘love’ for the neighbouring country.
It was only on Tuesday that former Pakistani cricketers Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar announced that they would pull out from their commentating duties during the ongoing India-South Africa series after similar friendly overtures were sent out to them by the saffron party.
Even umpire Aleem Dar who was due to officiate in the remaining matches of the series, has been taken off duty by the ICC in view of the impending threat.
Not to forget also when they saved singer Ghulam Ali the trouble of performing in Mumbai two weeks back.
