The Election Commission of India (ECI) will organise special camps on October 15 and 16 to help eligible voters missing from the draft electoral rolls during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) to apply for inclusion. The initiative will also focus on first-time voters and young electors seeking registration through Form-6.

The camps are part of a one-month initiative to re-include eligible voters omitted from the draft rolls.

According to a memorandum issued by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Booth Level Officers (BLO) and Booth Level Agents (BLA) representing political parties will be present at the camps to assist applicants in the enrolment process.

Telangana CEO Sudarshan Reddy has directed District Election Officers (DEO) and Electoral Registration Officers (ERO) to take necessary measures to aid electors. As part of the drive, BLOs have been instructed to identify individuals whose names featured in the electoral rolls before the SIR but were missing from the latest draft lists. They will conduct door-to-door visits to verify the status of such voters and help those found eligible submit Form-6 applications.

Each BLO has been asked to reach at least 20–25 omitted electors every week, with the entire exercise scheduled for completion within one month. The field visits will also cover first-time voters who need assistance registering themselves.

The BLOs will share the identified voters' lists, completed application forms, and field verification reports with the EROs and BLAs.

Following the completion of the exercise, booth-wise lists of eligible voters missing from the draft rolls will also be provided to political party representatives to help them identify additional cases and assist eligible individuals in applying for enrolment.
