1. A farmer couple from Padamata Narsapuram village of Khammam district in Telangana are the latest to come forward to claim 'Geeta,' a deaf and dumb girl who was found near the Pakistan border many years ago. The couple say, that Geeta is their long lost daughter 'Rani.' Read more.

2. Thirty-five persons were arrested in connection with the attack on Marredpally police station here last week. A mob of around 200 people, carrying weapons, ransacked the Marredpally police station last Monday. 3. A realtor has been arrested for cheating more than 1,000 people, including several NRIs and top government officials, while earning around Rs 25 crore from the act. The accused, Y. Prabhakar Sharma, would lure people, promising them an exclusive Brahmin housing colony named “Veda Gayatri Agraharam” in Chegur village of Kothur Mandal, Deccan Chronicle reports.
