The News Minute | July 1, 2014 | 11:31 AM IST Telugu actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has got some respite from the Andhra Pradesh High Court, with the court asking revenue and irrigation officials to maintain status quo on the actor's N convention centre. An investigation by the revenue and irrigation departments found that 20-acre area near the Tammidi Kunta lake was encroached upon by some people, of which N convention centre was built on 3 acre land. In fact a survey showed that around 1.2 acre of land on which the N Convention Centre was built was inside the Full Tank Level (FTL) of the lake, while another two acres of the building falls in the buffer zone of the lake. Nagarjuna has however maintained that he purchased the land from a trust many years ago and approached the HC challenging the bid to fix N convention land as Full Tank Level. Nagarjuna contended that the survey done without serving notice was illegal. The actor's attempts to meet Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has not been successful.
