A train journey for democracy: A migrant labourer reflects on elections

As Odisha goes to polls for Assembly and Lok Sabha, a large group of migrants from Kerala make the long journey home by Kanyakumari-Dibrugarh Vivek Express train to Odisha. TNM’s Binu Karunakaran follows one such migrant Gaura Naik to his village in in Odisha, where many others are drawn to vote, so their dreams of obtaining jobs in the village and never leaving their homes again, are met.
